MSC Cruises has unveiled new features of its incoming flagship, MSC World Asia, which is due to launch in the Mediterranean in December 2026.
The third World Class vessel will have the longest dry slide at sea and a new pan-Asian specialty restaurant.
Both will appear in the World Promenade, the open-air space at the heart of the ship, where there will be “a mix of returning favourites and new concepts”.
The Tree of Life @ the Spiral Dry Slide will be inspired by Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay and will be 81.3 metres long, allowing passengers to slide between 12 decks.
Meanwhile, the as-yet-unnamed new restaurant will focus on southeast Asian cuisine and aim to provide “an elevated dining experience”.
World Asia will offer seven-night itineraries in winter 2026/27 and summer 2027 with visits to Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia and Valletta.
